Telephone Books and Chicken Tacos

Just a couple of random things before I head to bed.

The Consumerist has posted that Cincinnati Bell is no longer going to deliver the White Pages. I have mixed feelings on this one, but one feeling is definitely relief of not having to face a big pile of phone books on the apartment porch that is ignored by un-interested tenants.

Also, I used my crock pot today! I got one from my parents for Christmas. It’s a 5 qt, which seems a bit big for just two, but I’m sure I can adjust accordingly. I just made tacos tonight to “get the feel” of how it cooks, and it was so easy! The chicken was so juicy that when I cut it to see if it was done, it burst. I just put in 2 chicken breasts, and filled the crock pot up with water till they were covered, added a packet of taco seasoning and stirred. 3-4 hours later I was done, and I set it out with the regular taco fixin’s. A good first round!
